{{ :recipes:notes:secretsjennivine_grande.jpg?direct&200|}} ====== Jennivine Restaurant====== Jennivine's was my favorite restaurant in Dallas, and is one of my favorites of all time. It was tiny, cozy and the food was amazing. So there I was, a year out of college, single, and lots of free time on my hands. The deal with the class was that you spent the first part of the evening cooking a meal (and drinking wine) and then you could invite someone to come and eat the meal (with wine). I had the idea that this would be a great way to meet women, but, alas, almost everyone was my parent's age and married. I wound up inviting a co-worker for the dinners and I really enjoyed the people in the class. We even got together a few times after the class for dinner parties. Chong, the chef at Jennivine's ran the class and the recipes and techniques I learned are classics. There is a book on the recipes from Jennivine's, but I've never found one reasonably priced. Someday. Update: I found one for $20 and purchased it!
