====== Penn Ave Lasagna ======

This is the lasagna I grew up with.  As the years went on, we would ask for it for Xmas eve family dinner.  Simple and delicious.

====== Ingredients ======
  * 3/4 box (10" slabs) Lasagna Noodles, cooked
  * 1 qt [[Penn Ave Spaghetti Sauce]]
  * 12 oz Cottage Cheese, blended
  * 8 oz. Mozarella Cheese, grated
    * Layer 3 times in greased 9x12 casserole
  * Parmesan Cheese
    * Sprinkle over top
Bake, covered 45 minutes @350

====== Notes ======
  * Mom's original recipe called for the addition of 1/2 tsp of basil to the sauce and then simmering, but I use a lot more herbs in my version of [[Penn Ave Spaghetti Sauce]], so I left it out.
  * If the spaghetti sauce is frozen, thaw to room temp
