Ingredients
1 lb Beef Stew Meat, chunked
1 lg Onion, cut into wedges
1 clove Garlic, minced
1 Tbsp Oil
Brown in dutch oven
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
4 cups Water, Boiling
1/4 cup Barley
1 Bay Leaf
1 can Beef Boullion
2 cubes Beef Boullion
Simmer 30 minutes
1 cup Sliced Carrots
Bring to a boil, cover
Simmer for 30 minutes
1/2 lb Mushrooms, sliced
Add simmer until beef is tender
