• 1/2 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
• 3/8 cup Butter
• 3/8 cup Shortening (Crisco)
  • Cream
• 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
• 1/2 cup Sugar
  • Add gradually, cream until fluffy
• 1 Egg
  • Mix in
• 1 3/4 cup sifted Flour
• 1 tsp Baking Soda
• 1/2 tsp Salt
  • Mix together
  • Add to wet ingredients

1. Make a ball on ungreased cookie sheet, fork flat
2. Bake 12-13 minutes @350

Original recipe called for just 3/4 cup shortening, but Mom changed it to half butter, half shortening.
