Ingredients
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 ½ c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cold water
- ½ c. boiling water
- 1 ¾ c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 egg whites
- ½ tsp. cream of tartar
Directions
- Combine egg yolks, sugar and cold water. Beat well. Add boiling water. Beat well. Add flour. Beat well. Add vanilla. Beat 4 egg whites half stiff, then add cream of tartar and beat until stiff. Fold into batter. Bake in hot tube pan at 350 for 55 minutes.
