This a recipe my mom would make sometimes and it was very good! The hot butter sauce really makes the cake.

Cake

• 1 cup Sugar
• 1/4 cup Butter
  • Cream
• 1 Egg
• 1 tsp Cinnamon
• 1 tsp Nutmeg
• 1 tsp Baking Soda
• 1/4 tsp Salt
• 1 tsp Vanilla
  • Add in sequence
• 1 cup Flour
• 2 TBSP Water
  • Add in sequence
• 1/4 cup Nuts, chopped
• 2 1/2 cups Apple, chopped
  • bake 40-45 min @350

Hot Butter Sauce

• 1/4 cup Butter (real)
• 1/2 cup condensed milk (sweetened condensed or evaporated?)
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 tsp Vanilla
  • Cook 5 minutes until syrupy
