• 1 lb Beef Stew Meat, chunked
• 1 lg Onion, cut into wedges
• 1 clove Garlic, minced
• 1 Tbsp Oil
  • Brown in dutch oven

• 1 tsp Salt
• 1/2 tsp Pepper
• 4 cups Water, Boiling
• 1/4 cup Barley
• 1 Bay Leaf
• 1 can Beef Boullion
• 2 cubes Beef Boullion
  • Simmer 30 minutes
• 1 cup Sliced Carrots
  • Bring to a boil, cover
  • Simmer for 30 minutes
• 1/2 lb Mushrooms, sliced
  • Add simmer until beef is tender
