Ingredients/Directions
1/2 cup Butter
Melt
1/2 lb Mushrooms, Sliced
1 clove Garlic, Minced
Celery, Chopped
2 Tbsp Green Pepper, Chopped (optional)
1/2 cup Blanched Slivered Almonds
1 cup Wild Rice
Cook 5 minutes until rice turns yellow (?)
3 cups Chicken Broth (probably low sodium)
Add
Season with S&P
Cover tightly, cook 1+ hour at 325
Notes
I've always tried to cook the rice until it turns yellow and I end up burning it. Next time, just do 5 minutes!
