Beef & Barley Soup

Ingredients
- 1 lb Beef Stew Meat, chunked
- 1 lg Onion, cut into wedges
- 1 clove Garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp Oil
- Brown in dutch oven
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 4 cups Water, Boiling
- 1/4 cup Barley
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1 can Beef Boullion
- 2 cubes Beef Boullion
- Simmer 30 minutes
- 1 cup Sliced Carrots
- Bring to a boil, cover
- Simmer for 30 minutes
- 1/2 lb Mushrooms, sliced
- Add simmer until beef is tender
