Chocolate Cream Pie
This recipe is an extension of Jan's Vanilla Cream Pie

Ingredients
- 2/3 c sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp flour
- 3 c. milk
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 ½ tsp vanilla
Add
- +1/3 c sugar
- 1 bar German chocolate
Directions
- Mix the sugar, salt, cornstarch and flour in saucepan.
- Stir in the milk gradually. Cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil 1 minute.
- Slowly stir half the mixture into the slightly beaten egg yolks. Blend into hot mixture in saucepan.
- Remove from heat. Blend in the butter and vanilla.
- Cool, stirring occasionally.
- Pour into cooled pie shell. Chill thoroughly, 2 hours.
- Add the chocolate with the milk
