Ingredients

  • 1 large can sauerkraut (save liquid)
  • 6 tbsp oatmeal
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1 med can peas, mashed (save liquid)
  • 3 cups mushrooms
  • water

Directions

  1. Cover sauerkraut with water. Add oatmeal and ½ of the onion. Cook 10 minutes.
  2. Add peas and mushrooms.
  3. Fry remainder of onions in 2 to 4 oz butter. Add to sauerkraut, and simmer for 10 minutes.
