Penn Ave Lasagna
This is the lasagna I grew up with. As the years went on, we would ask for it for Xmas eve family dinner. Simple and delicious.

Ingredients
- 3/4 box (10“ slabs) Lasagna Noodles, cooked
- 12 oz Cottage Cheese, blended
- 8 oz. Mozarella Cheese, grated
- Layer 3 times in greased 9×12 casserole
- Parmesan Cheese
- Sprinkle over top
Bake, covered 45 minutes @350
Notes
- Mom's original recipe called for the addition of 1/2 tsp of basil to the sauce and then simmering, but I use a lot more herbs in my version of Penn Ave Spaghetti Sauce, so I left it out.
- If the spaghetti sauce is frozen, thaw to room temp
