Penn Ave Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
- 3/8 cup Butter
- 3/8 cup Shortening (Crisco)
- Cream
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- Add gradually, cream until fluffy
- 1 Egg
- Mix in
- 1 3/4 cup sifted Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- Mix together
- Add to wet ingredients
Directions
- Make a ball on ungreased cookie sheet, fork flat
- Bake 12-13 minutes @350
Notes
Original recipe called for just 3/4 cup shortening, but Mom changed it to half butter, half shortening.
