Wild Rice Casserole

Ingredients/Directions

  • 1/2 cup Butter
    • Melt
  • 1/2 lb Mushrooms, Sliced
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced
  • Celery, Chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Green Pepper, Chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Blanched Slivered Almonds
  • 1 cup Wild Rice
    • Cook 5 minutes until rice turns yellow (?)
  • 3 cups Chicken Broth (probably low sodium)
    • Add
    • Season with S&P
    • Cover tightly, cook 1+ hour at 325

Notes

  • I've always tried to cook the rice until it turns yellow and I end up burning it. Next time, just do 5 minutes!
