Wild Rice Casserole

Ingredients/Directions
- 1/2 cup Butter
- Melt
- 1/2 lb Mushrooms, Sliced
- 1 clove Garlic, Minced
- Celery, Chopped
- 2 Tbsp Green Pepper, Chopped (optional)
- 1/2 cup Blanched Slivered Almonds
- 1 cup Wild Rice
- Cook 5 minutes until rice turns yellow (?)
- 3 cups Chicken Broth (probably low sodium)
- Add
- Season with S&P
- Cover tightly, cook 1+ hour at 325
Notes
- I've always tried to cook the rice until it turns yellow and I end up burning it. Next time, just do 5 minutes!
