Deb's Super Meatballs

Ingredients
- 1 cup torn pieces of white bread - packed (~1 1/2 slices)
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 lb ground beef (92%)
- 2/3 lb ground pork
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, grated or minced
- 1/2 cup grated Pecorino Romano Cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 heaping tsp dried parsley (2 TBSP fresh)
- 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Directions
- In a small bowl, soak bread in milk to soften.
- Place meats in mixing bowl and season with salt & pepper. Add garlic, cheese, bread with milk, egg, parsley & olive oil. Mix well to combine.
- Form into balls and place on a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake at 400° for 25-30 min. (Time will vary depending on the size of the meatballs.)
Notes
- After oven, simmer with Deb's Amazing Tomato Sauce.
