Browning Onions
- Cut up onions (4 or 5?)
- 2 TBSP oil
- 3/4 tsp Salt
- 3/4 cup water
- Add to non-stick pan
- Bring to boil
- Cover, cook for ~10 minutes, until most of the water is evaporated
- Uncover, stir, scrape up fond, press against pan
- Do this every 30 seconds until nicely browned, about 15-20 minutes
- 1/8 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp water
- Stir together
- Add to pan, cook until evaporated
- Done.
